While my latest animation is rendering I thought I would delve into the old archives and touch up a few images that didn't quite fit the bill at the time. Now with my increased knowledge of the programs I use some are passable for upload...

Well good Terry, just one small point - the winged defender is actually quite a large ship as TMP era ships go, they look like fighters in this pic.

I see what you're saying...I think it might be a perspective thing. The Excelsior is in extreme foreground, and the Defenders are further out, hard to notice without a common frame of reference. I remember the old FASA days, and the WD's were comperable in size to the refit conny. (as I recall). And the old Z-1 Nova Battleship was a bit larger than the excelsior, length wise. Quite a bit wider (wingspan and such)

Do you still have the Z-1 Nova mesh in your toybox? At one point you were going to look it up for me and then other stuff started happening (like life and such) Wouldn't mind getting my hands on any other FASA meshes you have either...=D

Can't see there being any on the hard drives, its a new machine I built specifically to do that megacity project but no doubt there'll be a few FASA meshes kicking around in the cellar on one or more of the several thousand backup disks down there. One day when I've a spare hour or two I'll go take a look. I'm just glad I let my late first wife talk me into indexing them all.
