"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.

I know the feeling very well. I had a lot of files I wanted to keep on my first external drive- till it crashed. It almost killed Nova Trek. I was almost two weeks salvaging and scavenging what files I could find and rebuilding the rest.
